And first on the list:
![]() June 10th:
I'd like to call this story,
"3 Rangers and a Chevy"
I was just sitting at home, doing nothing. Exciting huh? So then the phone rings, I pick it up, Becca screams into my ear, "Logan! we're suck out here in Clint's 2-wheel drive Ranger off of south loop, we're by the powerlines!, please bring your awesome Ranger out here and pull us out!"*
Being the nice, helpful person i am, i oblige, and drive all the way out there to help. Finally, after about 20 minutes of driving down 471, and 2 miles of driving through the woods, I arrive, and look down into the ditch where Clint's trusty Ranger is stuck... please note, Clint is running 30 inch tires... the tire that created the ruts he was in, was at least 40 inches. Needless to say, his truck was sitting on the frame.
Using all the power that my truck had, (which, by the way, isnt too very much) I pulled Chad's mom's Ranger out. then we tried to pull out Clint's truck. It didnt budge. Finally, Chads grandpa hooked his truck up (this is where the "chevy" part of the title comes into play) to clints truck and about snatched the rear-end out from underneath it... but hey, it got his truck out.
So children have you learned anything from this story? well ill tell you what you should have learned, the moral of the story is, If you're gonna buy a truck, dont buy a Ranger.
* some things may have been misquoted. on purpose.
